1. You can download DUBturbo onto your desktop, while with Sonic Producer you have to use it online (You need a constant internet connection and unlimited internet if you produce a lot).
2. DUBturbo uses WAV quality sound files, meaning you don’t lose quality when you’re producing your beats. Sonic Producer uses MP3 files which are compressed and of a lower quality. It then compresses your song again when you export it, meaning you get a double compression and an audio file that is far from perfect.
3. With DUBturbo you can import your own sounds and samples, and use them within your beats. With Sonic Producer you can only ever use their preloaded sounds, meaning that you can’t get as creative as you may want. It also gets boring only being able to use the same SP sounds over and over again.

I am an affiliate for DUBturbo because I genuinely feel it is a good tool for beginner and intermediate producers. I have used a wide range of music production software before (From Fruity Loops and ‘Music’ on the original Playstation lol, to advanced software like Cuebase and Reason) and can honestly say that DUB turbo is the best way to go if you can’t afford to spend a few hundred dollars on the advanced stuff.

DUBtubro is currently priced at $39.99 at the time of writing this, but could change. When I first started using and promoting it a few months back it was $29.99.
